The client brief

What they came with.

ReiTurn sold calculators, analysis tools, and resources specifically for real estate investors. The buyer profile was analytically rigorous: financially literate, ROI-focused, sceptical of generic claims, and comfortable with data-heavy interfaces. The challenge was building a store that felt credible to an audience that would immediately dismiss anything resembling a typical consumer e-commerce site.

B2B-Adjacent

Our approach

The decisions behind the build.

B2B-adjacent design language — professional dark palette, data-forward layout, formal copy register. Product pages were built around ROI justification: what does this tool help you analyse, what decisions does it support, and what is the cost of not having it? Feature previews (actual screenshots of calculator interfaces) replaced lifestyle imagery. The investor wants to see the tool working, not a stock photo of someone holding a clipboard.

What we built

The systems that made it work.

FIG 0.1

Calculator and tool feature previews

Actual interface screenshots embedded in product pages — showing buyers precisely what the tool does before they purchase, removing the abstract nature of buying a digital analysis product.

FIG 0.2

ROI justification framework

Copy architecture structured as: problem the investor faces → how this tool addresses it → what it costs to operate without it → price. Each product page walked the investor through a business case, not a product description.

FIG 0.3

Investment-stage product taxonomy

Category architecture organised by investor workflow — Deal Analysis, Portfolio Management, Due Diligence, Exit Strategy — matching how investors think about their process rather than how digital products are typically categorised.

FIG 0.4

Authority positioning for practitioners

Professional credentials, investment methodology background, and tool development rationale — building the credibility that converts an analytically rigorous audience who will immediately veto anything built by non-practitioners.

FIG 0.5

Investor-specific pre-purchase FAQ

Objections from financially sophisticated buyers addressed explicitly: compatibility, update frequency, modelling assumptions, and refund terms — converting sceptics rather than ignoring their reservations.

FIG 0.6

Sample output previews

Anonymised deal analyses and portfolio summaries from the tools embedded in product pages — showing the quality of analysis produced, not just the features that produce it.

The CRO layer

How we made it convert.

Every store we build has a conversion layer baked in from day one — not retrofitted after launch. These are the specific tactics applied to this build.

01

ROI framing over feature framing

Identifies underpriced deals in under 3 minutes outperforms includes 12 calculation modules for the investment-focused buyer — outcome-first copy converts because it speaks directly to the financial return being sought.

02

Tool interface previews remove purchase abstraction

Actual interface screenshots eliminate the uncertainty of buying a digital tool — buyers know exactly what they are getting and how it works before they pay, converting the analytically cautious investor.

03

Authority copy written for practitioners

Copy that sounds like it was written by an investor rather than a marketer — generic e-commerce language loses this audience immediately, while practitioner-voice copy signals the tool was built from actual investment experience.

04

Money-back guarantee framed as a business decision

Try it on a real deal before committing frames the guarantee as an investment decision rather than a standard refund policy — speaking the language of the buyer and reducing perceived risk.

ROI-forward copy and tool preview pages converted an audience that dismisses traditional e-commerce tactics — the investor responds to business case, not product description.
